Responsibilities
Independently handle monthly bookkeeping for clients across various industries
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Communicate with tax authorities and provide support on tax-related queries
Participate in projects and support the optimization of accounting and financial processes
Support system migrations, e.g., from RZL to BMD NTCS
File VAT prepayments and recapitulative statements (EC Sales Lists), etc.
Prepare monthly reports and management/business analyses
Assist with VAT special audits
Requirements
Several years of accounting experience, ideally in a tax advisory firm
Completed accounting certification (e.g., WIFI / Academy of Tax Advisors and Auditors)
Experience with common ERP/accounting systems (e.g., BMD NTCS, DATEV, RZL, RZA, DVO)
Experience in payroll accounting, ideally with a payroll certification
Good Excel skills are desirable
High accuracy and reliability
Team player with strong communication skills
Excellent German language skills, at least C1 level
Preferable: willingness to travel within eastern Austria (approx. 50%)
