Responsibilities
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of the customs, export control and trade compliance areas
- Development and implementation of a global trade compliance strategy
- Ensuring compliance with national and international customs and export control regulations
- Establishment and maintenance of compliance structures, including risk analyses and internal policies
- Monitoring existing authorizations and managing new applications (e.g., AEO/C, CBAM, EUDR, etc.)
- Leading and preparing internal and external audits
Requirements
- Degree in international trade, customs, logistics or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in customs, export control and trade compliance
- Leadership experience in a globally operating international team
- Business-fluent German and English
- In-depth knowledge of national and international customs and export control regulations
- Experience with SAP GTS and MS Office
