About the role

  • Project Engineer & Certification Manager managing technical conformity processes in Korea. Interface with local authorities and consultants ensuring compliance with Korean wind farm certification requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the technical compliance process for new developments in accordance with national regulations and other applicable local laws in Korea.
  • Serve as the interface between the market, local consultants and authorities, and ENERCON's global product management and R&D department regarding technical compliance, certification, testing and documentation requirements necessary for the certification of local wind farms and Korean-specific requirements.
  • Project-manage the national certification process, taking responsibility for schedule and scope.
  • Create and maintain documentation requirements for the local certification/testing process.
  • Assess product compliance with technical requirements.
  • Act as the point of contact for local experts and local certification matters.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in project management, energy procurement or the electrical engineering sector
  • Specific knowledge of wind energy and technical compliance is desirable
  • Flexible, independent and self-motivated working style; experience working in an international environment
  • Structured, analytical thinker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
  • Valid driver's license
