About the role

  • Engenheiro Florestal planning and executing carbon inventory projects for Emisfera Agro in the Amazon biome. Collaborating with technical teams to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive forest inventories, from planning through delivery of consolidated data;
  • Coordinate field surveys, including hiring and managing field assistants, logistics and equipment;
  • Consolidate, organize and validate biometric and dendrometric data;
  • Prepare technical reports and thematic maps based on collected data;
  • Support the technical team in preparing documentation for international standards, such as Verra (VCS), with a focus on biomass and carbon estimates;
  • Participate in meetings, technical alignments and interactions with auditors and stakeholders when necessary;
  • Work in synergy with the company’s land tenure, environmental and commercial departments.

Requirements

  • Degree in Forestry Engineering (active CREA registration)
  • Experience with geoprocessing (QGIS, ArcGIS or similar)
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and land tenure regularization
  • Ability to prepare and interpret technical reports, maps and technical analyses
  • Proactivity, strategic vision and alignment with Emisfera’s values
