About the role
- R&D Test Engineer designing automated test systems for T&M products at various manufacturing stages. Collaborating with HW Product Engineers and Manufacturing Test Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Designing or revising custom printed circuit boards to be used in a test fixture
- Developing production test code for the next generation of NI products
- Qualifying instruments for use in a Test application to be deployed to Manufacturing
- Analyzing production test data to look for trends which indicate the health of the product and/or test solution
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Two years of related experience in Electronics or Test Design
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
- Strong candidates will have an understanding of high-level programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW, TestStand, Python), analog signal considerations, sources of measurement error, appropriate selection of instrumentation, statistical analysis of data, integration of hardware and software, hands-on experience with electronic hardware, experience with high-frequency circuit design, RF and wireless communication
