About the role

  • SAP Security Analyst designing and maintaining security controls for Emerson’s SAP landscape. Ensures compliance and governs user authorizations across all business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and analyze SAP user authorizations and technical security roles, including configuration and maintenance of Security Weaver GRC tool and SAP.
  • Coordinate and complete periodic SOx audit with internal and external audit personnel.
  • Responsible for SAP security implementation and management and participate in weekly meetings with internal and key users.
  • Oversee and resolve production support tickets related to user administration and role design, serving as the primary contact for critical production issues related to security or other areas.
  • Lead process coordination with third parties to ensure compliance with Emerson standards, including crafting and implementing SAP user authorization and profile maintenance.
  • Lead potential mitigation efforts, monitor the ongoing status of action plans, ensure fulfillment of SAP agreements, licenses, and obligations, and conduct ongoing license audits periodically/annually.
  • Facilitate system and integration testing, including the functionality and performance, and ensure that it meets the original requirements and works within the defined standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in SAP Security administration and role design.
  • 3–5 years of experience working with SAP GRC tools (Access Control, Security Weaver, or equivalent).
  • Prior experience coordinating with internal and external auditors for SOx compliance.
  • Proven track record in production support and resolving critical SAP security issues.
  • Experience in policy development and maintaining IT security guidelines.
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with business teams and third-party vendors.
