Responsibilities
Work directly with certification agencies such as UL, CSA, and Intertek to develop and coordinate test plans and sample requirements in order to acquire third-party certifications.
Determine certification cost estimates and continuously work to streamline processes
Collaborate with engineering to ensure product designs meet industry-standard requirements and prepare samples for certification testing.
Maintain compliance by ensuring product certifications remain up to date
Continuously monitor changes in standard requirements and how they impact our products. Recommend innovative approaches to improve product compliance.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field of study.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with product test work within an engineering development organization.
Ability to lift 40-pound boxes and products being evaluated within the lab facility and in completion of testing activities.
Willingness and ability to travel globally, up to 15% annually.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Experience with hazardous location certifications
