About the role
- Lead the design and delivery of cloud-native, event-driven backend platforms
- Set technical direction and mentor teams
- Define and enforce .NET architectural standards
- Govern multi-account AWS setups
- Build high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems
- Standardize Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Oversee data and ETL pipelines
- Track and report engineering KPIs
- Coach and develop engineers
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience in C#/.NET for distributed, high-volume systems
- Proven track record in technical leadership and engineering management
- Experience in trading, fintech, or banking environments
- Expertise in event-driven architectures
- Strong AWS experience
- Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, and observability pipelines
- Knowledge of ETL/CDC patterns
