Responsibilities
- Coordinate control system planning, installation, programming, and commissioning
- Develop and program a written sequence of operations based on mechanical drawings
- Lead and schedule commissioning efforts
- Actively participate in LEED commissioning and coordination meetings
- Understand the design of mechanical equipment and systems
- Design and implement complex electrical control circuits
- Provide solutions for energy-saving opportunities and potential scopes of work for control implementation
- Perform training for Systems Engineer I and II
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience
- 10 + years of direct automation experience with control systems and programming required
- Working knowledge of at least three HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, Distech, JCI or Andover)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to interface with customers at a supervisory and management level
- Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking
- A valid driver’s license is required.
