About the role
- Student assistant role focusing on Enterprise IT Architecture analysis and documentation at Elmos Semiconductor in Dortmund, Germany. Part-time, hybrid position for IT-related studies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business processes in selected company areas
- Systematically record and assess the current application landscape and system interfaces
- Analyze the existing data architecture, data flows and data usage
- Provide an overview and assessment of the technologies and platforms in use
- Prepare structured documentation, visualizations and management presentations
- Identify initial optimization opportunities and derive concrete recommendations for action
- Work closely with Enterprise IT, business units and external partners
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable field
- Analytical, structured and independent way of working
- Interest in Enterprise Architecture, IT landscapes and business processes
- Good IT skills, especially MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with modeling or documentation tools is a plus
- Good communication skills and very good German and English language skills
- Availability to work 20 hours per week
