About the role
- Software developer for automation solutions in semiconductor manufacturing at a high-tech company. Developing software solutions for production sites in Europe and Asia with a focus on teamwork and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Support of our production sites in Europe and Asia and development of tailored software solutions
- Coordination of projects with internal and external software and production service providers
- Independent requirements analysis, design, and implementation of software solutions
- Documentation and long-term maintenance of developed software
- Team-based development of central software libraries
- Conducting team code reviews and software testing for quality assurance
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a comparable IT qualification with relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Proficient/practical experience in SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, as well as Linux/Unix; familiarity with other operating systems is desirable
- Ability to work into complex technical and domain-specific contexts and independently develop concepts and solutions
- Solution-oriented and process-focused thinking, initiative, and an independent working style
- Strong communication skills, team player, and sense of responsibility
- Excellent German and good English skills
