- Derive product group strategies based on the company's and purchasing strategy in the areas of outsourced manufacturing / "extended workbench" and general procurement needs
- Ensure and optimize the supply chain for the medium and long term, including contract management
- Continuously monitor national and international markets
- Source new suppliers, evaluate and develop existing suppliers
- Create transparency and optimize cost structures
- Independently prepare, conduct and lead price negotiations
- Resolve technical and commercial queries

Requirements
- Degree in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a buyer in an international environment
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness and a strong cost awareness are required
- Hands-on mentality with a high solution orientation and intercultural competence for negotiations in an international environment
- Quick comprehension as well as a structured, results-oriented and independent way of working
- Confident user of MS Office and experience with an ERP system
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
