About the role

• Analytics Engineer developing modern analytics solutions in SAP BW/4HANA. Supporting users in analyzing reporting requirements and delivering data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• You independently develop modern analytics solutions in SAP BW/4HANA for comprehensive analysis and visualization of data with SAP Analytics Cloud.
• You support and advise users and business units in analyzing and evaluating reporting requirements and in responding to ad-hoc requests.
• You convert prototype implementations into architecture-compliant solutions, including analyzing source data and identifying appropriate data sources, specifying and implementing required objects, and providing queries for visualization.
• You plan and manage the lifecycles of data, models and dashboards (Information Lifecycle Management).
• You participate in project teams and specialist committees.

Requirements

• You hold a completed vocational or academic qualification in computer science, business informatics or a related field.
• Vocational training with relevant professional experience or verifiable further training in data warehousing, particularly in the SAP environment.
• Experience with equivalent expertise acquired during professional activity.
• You have knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA modeling.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, the energy sector and/or project management is desirable.
• You are a strong communicator and possess business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills and are a team player.
