About the role
- Analytics Engineer developing modern analytics solutions in SAP BW/4HANA. Supporting users in analyzing reporting requirements and delivering data visualizations.
Responsibilities
- You independently develop modern analytics solutions in SAP BW/4HANA for comprehensive analysis and visualization of data with SAP Analytics Cloud.
- You support and advise users and business units in analyzing and evaluating reporting requirements and in responding to ad-hoc requests.
- You convert prototype implementations into architecture-compliant solutions, including analyzing source data and identifying appropriate data sources, specifying and implementing required objects, and providing queries for visualization.
- You plan and manage the lifecycles of data, models and dashboards (Information Lifecycle Management).
- You participate in project teams and specialist committees.
Requirements
- You hold a completed vocational or academic qualification in computer science, business informatics or a related field.
- Vocational training with relevant professional experience or verifiable further training in data warehousing, particularly in the SAP environment.
- Experience with equivalent expertise acquired during professional activity.
- You have knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA modeling.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, the energy sector and/or project management is desirable.
- You are a strong communicator and possess business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills and are a team player.
