About the role

• ERP System Engineer maintaining Microsoft Dynamics Business Central databases and user management. Collaborating on system improvements and providing operational support for system issues.

Responsibilities

• Administration and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central databases (on-premises)
• Management of integrations between Business Central and other company systems
• Support for Business Central upgrades, patches and environment migrations
• Ensuring data integrity, managing user access and supporting compliance with security policies according to internal standards
• Collaboration with developers, analysts and end users to improve system functionality
• Operational support for Business Central development
• Troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to Business Central and underlying systems
• Monitoring and optimizing SQL Server performance, queries, indexes and backups

Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience with ERP systems — preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or NAV
• Completed university degree with an IT background or equivalent training/qualification
• Knowledge of SQL Server administration, including performance tuning
• Solid understanding of database structures and query optimization
• Experience in system integrations, data migrations and environment management
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft tools such as Power Platform, Azure AD, SQL Server and telemetry
• Familiarity with Business Central AL development and extensions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to collaborate with subsidiaries and internal teams
• Proactive working style
• Skills in problem solving, analysis and documentation
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Microsoft certification (e.g., MB-800, SQL Database certification) is an advantage
