About the role
- IT Infrastructure Engineer handling compute and storage platform optimization for DoD and Intelligence Community. Collaborating with teams to implement secure configurations and maintain operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- support the implementation, operation, and optimization of compute and storage platforms
- assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining virtualized infrastructure
- troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- support system upgrades
- contribute to maintaining reliable and secure operations across multiple environments
- apply knowledge of virtualization concepts, storage protocols, and data center operations
- work alongside senior engineers and architects
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments
- 3+ years of experience supporting incident response, root-cause analysis, and resolution in enterprise environments
- 3+ years of experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Nutanix AHV
- 2+ years of experience applying system hardening practices, including STIGs and RMF fundamentals
- 2+ years of experience with enterprise storage systems such as NetApp or vSAN
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure environments in lieu of a degree
- TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
