About the role

Responsibilities
- Build and operate scalable backend services for a multi-tenant platform
- Ensure robust interfaces to AI capabilities (e.g., image analysis, text recognition)

- Integrate LLMs (Azure OpenAI) for extraction, validation, and assistance features
- Contribute new ideas to planned text and image use cases and turn prototypes into maintainable, production-ready services
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Several years of experience developing software in Python (including REST APIs, testing, database interactions, and resilient service designs)
- Solid understanding of ML in production (e.g., PyTorch/ONNX or similar): inference, model lifecycle, and typical production trade-offs
- CI/CD: a clear DevOps mindset (CI/CD, automated deployments, etc.)
- Desirable: experience with cloud development and containerized applications
- Analytical thinking and the ability to understand complex relationships and translate them into technically optimized and process-integrated solutions
- Team player with strong communication skills and an independent working style
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
