About the role
- Junior Financial Analyst supporting month-end closing and consolidating financial data. Analyzing variances and preparing insights for senior leadership while collaborating globally within the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial data consolidation.
- Create insights – prepare management reports, analyze variances vs. budget, prior year, forecasts, monitor KPIs, and deliver presentations for senior leadership.
- Maintain and enhance the Group's reporting and consolidation tool (LucaNet) and the financial model, ensuring data integrity and usability.
- Support financial planning and contribute to key financial processes including forecasting and budgeting.
- Solve problems – conduct ad-hoc analyses on costs, profitability, and performance metrics to support key decisions.
- Improve processes – identify opportunities for automation and optimization within financial reporting.
- Collaborate globally – work closely with Controlling, Accounting, and finance teams across different regions.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn
- Initial experience or internship in a finance or FP&A role is a plus
- Familiarity with Power BI and database tools (e.g. SQL)
