About the role
- Software Developer contributing to the development of WP3 securities platform in hybrid model. Key responsibilities include application maintenance, migration to AWS, and agile software development with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Implement extensive and far-reaching enhancements to our securities platform
- Work at our Frankfurt or Düsseldorf location
- Take end-to-end responsibility for applications and successfully evolve them
- Collaborate closely with our clients and external service providers
- Support the development and maintenance of our applications
- Migrate applications to the new technical platform and to the AWS Cloud
- Keep system documentation up to date
- Contribute to the development of high-quality software components across the entire software lifecycle within an agile team
- Serve as an interface between business units and development colleagues
- Potentially take on necessary on-call duties
Requirements
- Several years of successful experience in application development
- Strong knowledge of several of the following technologies and methods: Java, the Spring ecosystem, Angular, interface technologies (REST, SOAP, Kafka), PostgreSQL or similar, cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with various software development approaches and well-versed in (agile) project methodologies
- Fluent German (C1) and good English skills (B2)
- With your commitment and communication skills, you are able to convey topics clearly and transparently and foster team cohesion
- Continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team are natural to you
