About the role

  • Paralegal in Bristol assisting Major Injury and Casualty team. Supporting legal team with case progression and administrative duties in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist fee earners and support qualified individuals with the progression of cases through litigation process.
  • Act as a trusted member of the team whilst taking responsibility for tasks, including updating files and liaising with third parties.
  • Engage with clients and other stakeholders to gather and organise information.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operation of the legal team.
  • Support the team in managing case files and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • A real interest in EL/PL, RTA, personal injury or catastrophic injury cases, preferably with previous experience.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines.
  • Basic to intermediate IT and keyboard skills with knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn on the job and to participate in learning and development opportunities.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to set deadlines and service levels.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data.
