Finance Operations Assistant supporting the Credit & Collections team at DWF. Involves training in a collaborative environment with responsibility for collections and cashiering functions.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Credit & Collections Supervisor and wider Finance team
Play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Collections and Cashiering functions
Help maintain service levels across shared inboxes
Triage incoming emails, issue copy invoices, prepare statements of account, and distribute queries to the appropriate colleagues in line with firm processes
Support workflow management across the firm by maintaining client assignments
Prepare batch invoice files
Process debt write-offs in line with approval authorisations
Assist with credit risk reviews for new client onboarding
Regular interaction with internal stakeholders and clients
Requirements
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good organisational and time management skills
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
Comfortable user of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
Interest in finance, credit control or professional services
Experience managing shared inboxes or high volumes of emails
Familiarity with finance or billing systems (training provided)
