About the role

  • Engineering Manager leading a multidisciplinary software engineering team in Energy at DTN. Responsible for technical excellence and delivery execution for critical products built on .NET and AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for systems built with .NET (C#), legacy Delphi, and AWS-native services
  • Lead modernization efforts, including migration of legacy workloads to AWS serverless and managed cloud services
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Product Management to align on priorities, roadmaps, and delivery objectives
  • Own end-to-end delivery of features and platform capabilities, including Agile ceremonies, sprint execution, and production readiness
  • Ensure systems meet DTN standards for security, reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence
  • Champion operational best practices, including monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering leadership or technical team lead experience
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise in .NET (C#) enterprise application development and supporting or modernizing legacy Delphi systems
  • Experience building and operating cloud-native systems on AWS, including services such as Lambda, RDS, and S3
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and modern DevOps practices
  • Proven success leading teams delivering distributed, event-driven, mission-critical systems
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and cloud-native architecture
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering, and operations teams
  • Experience in Energy, Fuels, Logistics, or data-driven platforms is a plus.
