About the role
- As an IT Consultant for MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will implement an ERP system at Hille and Herzberg with a focus on development, documentation, and support.
Responsibilities
- Development & Migration: As a member of the project team, you will play a key role in the introduction and migration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Process Analysis: Together with colleagues from various departments of the company, you will analyze existing processes and advise on the optimal mapping of those processes in the system.
- Gap Analyses / Change Requests: For special requirements, you will support decision-making and provide recommendations on whether in-house or external programs/custom development are feasible or necessary.
- 1st & 2nd Level Support: After the ERP system goes live, you will support all key users and end users with various inquiries.
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in computer science / IT
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in SaaS environments, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Proficient in AL, Visual Studio Code (VS Code) and Azure DevOps for requirement-based customizations and extensions
- Project experience and in-depth knowledge of RDLC, Word layouts and integration with Power BI
- Knowledge of administration in the Business Central Admin Center (SaaS), telemetry monitoring, license management and permissions/authorization management
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of problem-solving both independently and as part of a team
- Fluent German (C1)
