About the role

  • Transition Manager responsible for planning and executing service transitions at dsm-firmenich. Leading strategy and ensuring seamless handover between business units and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordinating, and executing service transitions to ensure a seamless handover between business units and external partners.
  • Creating and executing detailed transition plans that outline tasks, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with project teams and cross-functional departments to ensure full alignment with transition objectives and deliverables.
  • Leading the transition of services between BP/GES and GES/BPO, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to keep them informed about progress.
  • Identifying potential risks associated with transitions and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Overseeing hand-over upon completion of the implementation project.
  • Delivering projects within budget, scope, and timeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
  • 8–10 years of experience in managing complex Transition Projects, ideally Process Transformation Projects, including workshop facilitation
  • Strong Project management skills, preferably experience in project management tools (e.g. LSS, PMP, Agile, Waterfall and Scrum)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • International experience required
  • Knowledge of business cases and capacity planning.
