About the role
- Backoffice & Finance Specialist overseeing financial tasks and team support at Dreamlight Labs. Engaging in event planning and management in a dynamic creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial accounting: document management, preliminary checks, reconciliations
- Invoice management: review of incoming invoices, preparation and execution of payments
- Support for payroll accounting: maintenance of master data, preparation of documents, communication with our payroll provider
- Controlling activities: support in the analysis of business performance metrics
- Forecast preparation: collaboration on revenue, cost and profit forecasts together with the events team and management
- Cash flow monitoring: ongoing monitoring and assessment of the cash flow situation and participation in liquidity planning
- General backoffice tasks: email management, contract filing & contract drafting, document organization
- Support for management: scheduling, research, project coordination
- Liaison with tax advisors, service providers and internal teams
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting or a comparable commercial area
- Degree in a business/economics discipline or completed commercial vocational training
- Proven experience with DATEV Unternehmen Online
- Technical affinity and an understanding of digital processes and modern tools
- Excellent organizational skills and a structured, careful and reliable working style
- Strong communication skills, discretion and a sense of responsibility
- Confident user of Office programs
- Ideally based in Hamburg or Frankfurt to allow for occasional in-person coworking days
