Responsibilities
- Responsibility for all accounting and financial reporting in accordance with HGB
- Provide sound advice and support to our clients on all value added tax (VAT) matters
- Independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Proactively communicate financial insights and recommendations to our clients
- Implement and optimize financial processes and quickly adapt to new tools and systems
- Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and deep understanding of VAT law
- Experience in accounting, complemented by good communication skills
- Ability to work independently of specific tools and quickly adapt to new systems (e.g., DATEV, SAP, Navision/Dynamics)
- Experience in the start-up environment and a proactive, solution-oriented working style
- A consulting mindset that considers both the numbers and the strategic direction of the company
