About the role

• Full Stack Developer designing and developing web applications for Dominion National. Working with cross-trained programmers and collaborating with business colleagues to implement projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end and back-end components of web applications using .NET Core 3.1/.NET 5.0, ASP.NET, React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Collaborate closely with other developers to understand requirements, to design and deliver solutions using various technologies, taking into account critical performance characteristics, security measures and customer requirements.
• Review and document software failures and take or recommend corrective action.
• Ensures security and integrity of all systems and data.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance of existing applications/processes and implement.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience developing .NET applications in C# or similar object-oriented languages.
• 2+ years of strong front-end skills in HTML/CSS and React for building modern and responsive user interfaces.
• Experience with SQL, RESTful APIs, good understanding of data structures and design patterns.
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework and associated development technologies, particularly Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Intermediate understanding of design patterns and principles, particularly Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
