About the role

  • Data Scientist leveraging expertise in AI and ML for analyzing sales trends and improving content offerings. Collaborating with cross-functional teams while based in Reykjavik or remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Build and optimise ML models to analyse sales trends, improve content offerings and optimise pricing processes.
  • Evaluate model performance and iterate to improve accuracy and business impact.
  • Explore new AI approaches by evaluating emerging ML and AI techniques and identifying opportunities to apply them to business challenges.
  • Partner with data engineers and analysts to build data pipelines and deploy models into production, ensuring they run reliably at scale.
  • Analyse data to uncover growth opportunities and surface insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineers to integrate solutions into our existing pipelines and services.

Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field like mathematics and statistics.
  • 3+ years of experience in the field, including deployment and monitoring ML models.
  • Proficiency in Python, experience with ML, AI frameworks and platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for tackling challenging and ambiguous problems.
