About the role

  • General Ledger Accountant supporting Finance Team at DLL through various accounting tasks including reconciliations and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

  • General Ledger accounting tasks to support the Finance Team including:
  • Preparation of monthly journal entries
  • Performance of reconciliations
  • Suspense account analysis
  • Analysis of costs and variances
  • Intercompany recharge process
  • Month-end close activities
  • Purchase order creation and monitoring of suppliers
  • Liaising with external auditors on GL related queries
  • Assisting with annual budgeting exercise
  • Liaising with centralised accounting teams on GL related queries

Requirements

  • Recent college graduate from an accounting degree or relevant business degree
  • Strong accounting discipline and control focus
  • Proactive and eager with strong customer delivery focus and attitude
  • Business graduate ideally with accounting specialism
  • Strong understanding of debits and credits
  • Microsoft products capability especially Excel
  • Detail orientated, accurate with ‘right first time’ attitude
  • Capability to work individually on own initiative and within the team
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Enjoys collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Capability to communicate with other departments and other DLL teams located in other countries
