Marcomms Operations Manager at Digital Catapult directing efficient marketing operations. Collaborating across departments and managing workflows to enhance processes within the team.
Responsibilities
Maintaining, updating and fine-tuning efficient ways of managing and prioritising the Marcomms Team workload, workflows, processes and tools (for example Trello boards) to drive effectiveness, efficiency and optimal communication flow within all members of the team.
Identifying, exploring and defining which projects/programmes the team should prioritise, setting a timeline to reach goals quickly, and tracking progress with operational owners to drive programmes that deliver impact.
Adapting, refining and creating templates, checklists and documents to help the team streamline activities and work more efficiently.
Delivering monthly marketing reports with key insights and lessons learned to help answer strategic and operational questions, assisting the Marcomms Team with business reporting, target setting, and KPI management.
Acting as the team GDPR champion by overseeing data cleanliness and completeness for customer, prospect and partner records; maintaining data according to good GDPR policies and practices.
Acting as the team champion with regards to procurement processes and practices and being the team point of contact for keeping all supplier’s framework agreements in place.
Acting as the brand guardian making sure to maintain, review and create the existing branded assets as well as help the wider team to adhere to the Digital Catapult brand .
Requirements
Relevant experience in B2B marketing operations, preferably (but not essential) from a technology business, startup or agency.
Ideally educated to degree level within a business or marketing related field or with equivalent level of experience.
Strong project management and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, objectives and tasks simultaneously
Technically capable with a desire to improve processes.
Great teamwork and collaboration skills, able to form successful working relationships with colleagues across the business.
A solutions person with a creative flair and the ability to break complex problems into smaller ones – enjoys identifying and solving complex
