About the role

Responsibilities
- Confident on-camera presence for hosting and moderating streaming broadcasts
- Editorial instinct for specialist topics, target audiences and current trends in tourism and travel distribution to develop topics and prepare content
- Basic understanding of technical workflows in broadcast and streaming processes (e.g., livestream setup, scheduling/operations) and platform management (e.g., YouTube, media libraries, social media), including publishing on these platforms and metadata maintenance
- Strong organizational skills and experience planning and coordinating broadcasts or formats, including timing and workflows
- Strong writing sensibility and the ability to adapt content for different distribution channels (web, social media, etc.)
- Fact-checking, researching statements and official positions, and conducting interviews
- Reporting on and summarizing digital events
Requirements
- University degree or vocational training with initial relevant professional experience; ideally a completed editorial traineeship (Volontariat)
- Affinity for video content, social media, or podcasts
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and a collaborative team orientation
- Good English skills are desirable (for translating English-language material into German)
- Understanding of economic contexts, (digital) business models and an affinity for tourism and the cruise industry
