About the role

  • Sourcing Manager within Financial Services managing technology supplier relationships and procurement processes. Engaging stakeholders and sourcing new suppliers for optimal commercial outcomes in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with business stakeholders to understand the demand and requirements
  • Sourcing new/replacement suppliers as per the business needs
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular business reviews
  • Focus on driving margin improvement with new and existing suppliers
  • Drive effective procurement strategies by conducting RFPs, negotiations of commercial agreements, and ongoing vendor management
  • Execution of the process following the banks processes and controls through to contract signature
  • Additional work on category planning may be required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement
  • Experience of end-to-end Sourcing process ideally in Financial Services or a similarly regulated environment
  • Previous experience within Technology Sourcing is essential
  • Structured approach to planning and execution
  • Ability to work at pace but with control at the front of mind
  • Comfortable operating in complex matrixed environments
  • Self-starter, pro-active and quick to learn processes, controls and tools
  • Good interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Good collaborative style with other Procurement and Bank teams
