About the role

• Principal Engineering Manager (Head of AI) at Deep Sync responsible for architecting the Agentic AI platform. Leading a team to integrate AI innovations in marketing and data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Agentic Platform team from scratch, serving as the technical visionary and "Head of AI" for the region.
• Architect and develop the core Agentic AI platform, designing autonomous agents that can reason, plan, and execute complex workflows to drive operational excellence.
• Actively code and prototype key components of the system (Python/LLM frameworks), setting the standard for code quality and architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with global executive leadership to define the AI product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Deep Sync’s broader data and identity strategy.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing team of AI engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.
• Drive the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies into our deterministic identity graph and marketing solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of total software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Deep understanding of the Agentic AI landscape (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel) and experience building autonomous agent workflows.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python; proficiency in Java or C++ is a plus.
• Strong experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Experience designing scalable systems on cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Previous experience in a startup environment or as a founding member of a new team/product vertical is highly desirable.
