About the role

  • General Accounting Manager overseeing financial controls and monthly close processes at Dealer Tire. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and processes for accounting operations activities.
  • Coordinate the completion of tasks related to the monthly financial close process.
  • Participate in management meetings to review financial results.
  • Ensure that Accounts Payable, Received Not Vouchered (RNV) and/or Accounts Receivable subledgers are reconciled and closed.
  • Research and recommend resolutions to variances between subledgers and the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with OEM’s, Dealers, Program Management, Accounting, and IT teams to implement OEM contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting required.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Five to seven years relevant accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP required.
  • Experience with a major ERP system required (i.e., Oracle, JDE, SAP)
  • Experience in developing, improving, and implementing financial information systems.
