About the role
- Accounting Manager for financial accounting and reporting with DI Accounting Team ensuring accurate transactions and safeguarding the firm's assets. Overseeing private equity funds and collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- key member of the team accountable for the financial accounting and reporting of DI managed entities
- assisting with the closing of the books and records of certain private equity funds
- reviewing the work of associate accountants on the team
- responsible for the general ledger of these entities and ensuring strong controls are maintained through quality, well documented account reconciliations
- interacting with senior members of the finance and business groups that support the entities as well as with tax, treasury, and external auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, CPA preferred
- Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting, public accounting and/or private equity experience
- Detail-oriented with solid understanding of business and financial concepts
- Experience preparing GAAP financial statements, particularly partnerships strongly preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to utilize financial systems and reporting tools; strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel & Word)
- Experience with complex financial systems and multi-dimensional reporting tools (e.g. eFront, Investran, Oracle, Essbase, Workiva Power BI, Yardi)
