Responsibilities
On-site service execution and support (order and incident management) as part of the modern digital workplace — Workplace-as-a-Service for a global client in the pharmaceutical sector and a client in the technical sector
User support at the IT Service Point
Meeting room support: troubleshooting and support for IT equipment in conference rooms
Delivery, installation, repair, deployment and upgrading of PC systems
Handling incident reports via a ticketing system
Configuring PC systems with the appropriate customer image
Setup and support of special devices (barcode scanners, label printers, etc.)
Replacement, installation and documentation of network components (access points, switches, etc.)
Patching and fault resolution for telecommunications lines
Setup, dismantling and reconfiguration of PC workstations
Participation in projects related to workplace services
Requirements
Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (or equivalent)
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Office (2010 and later)
Good experience with standard PC/notebook hardware (HP/Lenovo)
Knowledge of telecommunications end devices (iPhones, iPads, smartphones, VoIP)
Basic knowledge of Active Directory is an advantage
Desirable: knowledge of network technologies, remote/VPN access, print servers and ITIL
Advanced German language skills and good knowledge of English and/or another foreign language (written and spoken)
