Responsibilities
Support and manage technically challenging projects in large, often international client environments
Design, development and automation of Linux-based infrastructures — particularly on RHEL — using Ansible and Terraform
Gather and analyze technical customer requirements in existing or new environments
Install, integrate and migrate larger IT infrastructure systems according to customer requirements
Operate and continuously optimize customer RHEL-based Linux server landscapes
Ensure smooth system operations, including monitoring (e.g., Checkmk), patching, troubleshooting and performance optimization
Requirements
Degree in (business) computer science or vocational training in an IT-related field
Solid experience administering Linux server infrastructures, ideally with RHEL (8.3 and above)
Deep knowledge of automation with Ansible, optionally including Ansible Tower/AWX
Experience with modern infrastructure technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of configuring and operating web servers such as Apache HTTP and Apache Tomcat
Experience connecting to and administering MS SQL databases and with monitoring tools (Checkmk) is a plus
Ideally experience creating and maintaining scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate operational processes
