About the role

  • Electrical designer constructing and dimensioning electrical components for emission treatment systems at DAS Environmental Expert GmbH. Collaborating with mechanical design and software development teams.

Responsibilities

  • As an Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d) in our Emissions Treatment business unit, you are responsible for the electrical design, sizing and specification of the electrical components of our systems.
  • Design of control systems (hardware, sensors) for our plants
  • Collaboration with mechanical design, software development and the R&D/development department
  • Independently handle design tasks in accordance with the product strategy
  • Prepare expert templates and initiate consultations on required designs for plant engineering and product maintenance
  • Organize and implement design prototypes
  • Produce design documentation
  • Prepare, review and release manufacturing documents
  • Support the preparation of documentation and internal company publications
  • Support type and sample testing of products
  • Provide design-related production support

Requirements

  • Completed degree or vocational qualification as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics
  • Practical experience in electrical engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant E-CAD systems; experience with EPLAN is desirable
  • Experience with ERP systems is desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good written and spoken German and English
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Solution-oriented and creative approach to work
