Responsibilities
Join our Shared Service Centre as a Senior Accountant, work together with great colleagues within Danfoss group.
Use your organizational talent to coordinate with various stakeholders, auditors, and suppliers.
Play a key role in the cooperation with R2R/P2P/O2C teams, Group Reporting, Group Tax, Business Controllers, Business Partners to make sure end-to-end processes are adhered to and performed timely with right quality.
Work in Grodzisk Mazowiecki or Povazska Bystrica and report to a local Manager.
Accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information including statutory financial statement, direct tax reporting and statistical reports with cooperation of external advisors.
Preparing, review/approve monthly journal entries and reconciliations such as inventory, intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, impairments, write-offs, taxes.
Performing closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annually) in compliance with corporate and country legislation and guidance.
Preparing financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
Preparing internal and external audit schedules and responding to inquiries.
Initiating and/or participating in continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
At least secondary education with specialization in accounting or economy.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in corporate full general ledger accounting or management accounting.
Strong knowledge of MS office (Excel and Word).
Fluent English (knowledge of other languages will be an advantage).
Knowledge of SAP, Business Intelligence, HFM would be beneficial.
Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across different organizational levels and cultures.
