Handle all the design aspects of Drivetrain Component across the whole lifecycle: Concept development, feasibility study and design analysis of new products; Review and support product design and contribute in validation activities (definition of test and/or validation programs);
Analyze and support application process and approval; handle prototype, production release and implementation.
Manage the technical communication with the customer, in agreement with Sales and Program Management.
Support the optimization of current product ranges and the development of future engineering designs.
Work in cooperation with other functions, suppliers, plant personnel and others to implement cost reduction, methods, process and product improvements.
Actively propose new solutions to current or future customer needs.
Requirements
Master Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
2 - 4 years of professional experience in the Industrial sector working on the development of complex mechanical systems.
Background in material engineering like, but not only: heat treatment, metallurgical analysis.
Be familiar with standard approaches and methods for the design and validation of mechanical components.
Knowledge of standard tools used to size mechanical components/systems under different points of view: functional, performance, endurance, etc.
English, upper intermediate (B2) level as minimum for both spoken and written.
High computer’s skills in Windows OS, Microsoft Office suite and internet.
Knowledge of CAD Tool (Creo), CAE (Abaqus, Romax, Adams or similar) and PLM (TeamCenter) tools is considered as a plus.
