About the role
- System Engineer for Cisco Enterprise Networks responsible for troubleshooting and designing LAN/WLAN solutions. Join a professional service team with a focus on innovative client solutions.
Responsibilities
- Fault analysis and root-cause investigations in enterprise LAN, WLAN and security environments, including communication with the vendor
- Support in developing complex design and integration concepts for enterprise LAN, WLAN and security environments within the Cisco ecosystem
- Advise our customers on network architecture, design and operations
- Implement changes and upgrades in customer networks
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
- Proven experience in implementing Cisco LAN, WLAN and security solutions
- Knowledge in SDN (Cisco Catalyst Center, SD-Access) desirable
- Ideally Cisco certifications (CCNP Enterprise, Wireless or equivalent or higher)
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Independent and structured working style as well as ability to work in a team
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- ITIL knowledge and certification desirable
- Customer orientation and strong communication skills for direct customer contact
