About the role

Responsibilities
- Supervise financial routines for Transportation, including verification, validation and approval of freight invoices.
- Ensure accuracy of payment flows to carriers, monitoring deadlines, inconsistencies and discrepancies.
- Track and control the annual transportation budget, analyzing variances, trends and risks.
- Lead internal and external audits related to freight, contracts and financial controls.
- Monitor and optimize financial KPIs for Transportation (cost per ton, cost per route, Budget vs. Actual, etc.).
- Perform financial performance analyses and propose improvements to reduce costs and optimize processes.
- Implement and maintain systems and tools (TMS, ERP, freight payment platforms).
- Work with suppliers to resolve financial issues and align contractual terms.
- Ensure tax compliance in freight processes (ISS, ICMS, PIS/COFINS and credits).
- Lead, coach and develop the Transportation finance team.
Requirements
