About the role

• Design and develop microservice-oriented industrial software for smart factories as a Senior Backend Engineer at Cybus. Collaborating in an agile team focused on IIoT advancements.

Responsibilities

• As part of an experienced agile team, you design, develop, and maintain our cutting-edge microservice-oriented software product.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our IIoT software product.
• Design and develop microservice-oriented industrial software that connects modern smart factories.
• Work with our core application technologies, i.e., Go and Node.js, and modern broker technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for software applications.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing and developing backend systems, ideally in an event-driven microservice environment.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development and an interest in learning Go.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Docker.
• Familiarity with developing custom protocols over TCP.
• Familiarity with message broker technologies such as MQTT, NATS, or others.
• Bonus points for experience developing solutions for industrial IoT (IIoT) applications.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
