About the role
- Product Engineer responsible for counterbalance truck product series in Europe. Key interface between development in the USA and sales, marketing, and service teams.
Responsibilities
- Integrate European requirements into development projects by contributing to the preparation of requirements specifications for new developments and upgrades
- Independently organize and carry out pre-series tests at our European customers' sites in close cooperation with adjacent departments
- Communicate and coordinate with our global project teams
- Handle customer special requests and modification inquiries
- Design, develop and approve solutions for mechanical components up to and including the integration of assistance systems
- Conduct market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of our equipment
Requirements
- University degree in engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering or vehicle engineering
- Professional experience in 3D CAD assembly design (preferably with Siemens NX)
- Strong knowledge of component-compliant design and experimental/testing procedures
- Willingness to travel occasionally
