About the role
- Product Engineer managing Counterbalance Truck product integration and market requirements in Europe. Collaboration with US development and European sales, marketing, and service teams.
Responsibilities
- Integrate European requirements into development projects by contributing to the preparation of requirements specifications for new designs and further developments
- Independently organize and conduct pre-series tests at our European customers' sites in close cooperation with related departments
- Communicate and coordinate with our global project teams
- Handle customer special requests and modification inquiries
- Design, develop and release solutions for mechanical components up to and including the integration of assistance systems
- Conduct market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of our equipment
Requirements
- Degree in engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering or Vehicle Engineering
- Ideally, professional experience in 3D CAD assembly design (preferably with NX)
- Very good knowledge of component-level design and test procedures
- Willingness to travel occasionally
