About the role

Responsibilities
- Experience with designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.
- This role requires a solid understanding of content management systems, front-end and back-end technologies, and AEM’s core components and architecture.
- Code, modify and debug, web-based applications in the Java language using additional web technologies including HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- Assist in code design.
- Perform code reviews providing code quality review.
- Perform analysis of interacting systems to ensure changes made to one system will not impact other systems.
- Work closely with the Business Analyst to ensure proper documentation of requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications, run books, and other system and programming documentation in accordance with internal standards.
- Provide training to users and knowledge transfer to Support and Operations personnel related to changes to systems.
- Work with Quality Analysts to ensure changes are thoroughly tested before release.
- Write unit tests for new code.
- Diagnose of problematic applications and assist system testing.
- Stay informed of advances and pertinent changes in software development techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field)
- 5 plus years related experience (developing customer facing websites)
- 3-5 years’ experience implementing projects on Adobe Experience Manager Version 6.5 or AEM Cloud.
- Experience in designing and building robust frameworks that supports component and template reuse across different sites
- Experience in delivering highly complex web solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- High degree of technical competence with the latest web technologies: Java, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Strong experience working in cross-functional teams using SCRUM/Agile development methodologies
- 1 year professional experience writing fully automated unit tests
- 2+ years professional experience on an agile team with a sprint length of less than 1 month.
