About the role
- Software Engineer (Backend) developing scalable backend services using Java or Go for a tech company. Involvement in microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- You develop scalable backend services based on Java (Spring Boot) or Go in a cloud-native environment
- You design microservice architectures and RESTful APIs using OpenAPI / Swagger
- You build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, ArgoCD and Helm charts
- You operate your services independently according to the "you build it, you run it" principle on Kubernetes (OpenShift / EKS)
- You actively contribute to our DevOps Community of Practice and our SRE journey
Requirements
- Several years of experience in backend development with Java, Go or Python
- Solid knowledge of containerized environments: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Familiarity with event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka
- Experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace or similar
- Enthusiasm for agile collaboration and taking technical ownership
