About the role
- Junior Accountant supporting general ledger accounting tasks in corporate finance. Collaborating with international finance teams and ensuring compliance with internal controls in a multinational environment.
Responsibilities
- Support general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor open items
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and internal documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Collaborating with cross-functional and international Finance teams
Requirements
- Understanding of basic internal controls and accounting process
- Authorization to work in the US
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Up to 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
