About the role
- Analyst in Statistics team analyzing clinical and health data for Costello Medical, delivering insights on patient-level clinical trials and real-world data.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Statistics team on projects involving statistical analysis of clinical and health data.
- Conduct detailed analyses and present methods and results to clients and the wider community.
- Analyse patient-level clinical trial data, observational study data, and real-world data.
- Synthesize published aggregate data to answer questions about relevant treatments or therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with Statisticians to plan analyses and determine appropriate methodologies.
- Critically appraise statistical analyses, interpret results, and present findings.
- Participate in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with external stakeholders.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree-level qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent).
- Postgraduate qualifications (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) would be an advantage, but they are not a requirement for the role.
- An interest in working with complex numerical data.
- Being self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in healthcare and an eagerness to learn and develop your skills.
- An exceptional level of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your time to work across multiple projects at the same time and prioritise tasks appropriately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing scientific documents.
- A proactive mindset, including the ability to recognise challenges and suggest solutions with limited guidance.
- A collaborative approach to working.
- Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
