Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of engineering design on major projects throughout various stages of the project life cycle
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, safety, and quality requirements.
- Production and checking of tendering and design deliverables aligned with technical discipline
- Coordinating project work activities between team members
- Engaging / leading technical reviews, meetings and presentations to support scope delivery
- Completion of work packages to cost, time and quality needs, managing change and other resources / people.
- Collaborate with suppliers, other designers, construction team to produce a robust and safe design output.
Requirements
- Honours Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering related subject
- Be on track or have achieved professional qualifications such as Chartership or Incorporated Status
- Educational experience relevant to their engineering discipline, ideally degree qualified to a 2:1 or better
- Safety passport or similar
- Significant experience in Temporary works design/checking.
- Understanding of site construction methods
- Thorough knowledge of the major project delivery process from work winning to project handover.
- Knowledge and understanding of UK technical and regulatory standards and global best practice.
- Strong process safety, quality and environmental leadership focus.
