About the role
- Senior Project Manager overseeing HV Transmission projects at Costain, ensuring successful delivery and multi-disciplinary team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Overall accountability for successful project delivery including initiation, planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and handover/close out.
- Provide leadership, project management and inspire a multi-disciplinary team.
- Determine the most appropriate means of satisfying the customer, project requirements, key objectives and constraints; Safety, time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role on a Substation project
- Worked in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team
- HND or Degree level in Engineering or Management / Construction discipline
- Experience in Design Management
- Management/construction or experience equivalent
- Holds a current driving licence
- Ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team
- Experience of working on a variety of National Grid project types.
- Able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery
- Good understanding of the standard forms of contracts
- Proficient in commercial/project management communications
- Experience in implementing safe systems of work
- Working in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders.
